Robert is a graduate of Emory University and earned his J.D. with honors and distinction from Georgia State University College of Law in 2007. His legal career includes roles at some of the most respected global, national, and statewide corporate defense firms, where he handled complex cases involving civil rights violations, class actions, business disputes, construction litigation, and government investigations.
Before joining the Wetherington, Robert focused on insurance and liability litigation, defending some of the world’s largest insurance carriers. This experience gave him a strategic advantage when representing individuals and families harmed by corporate negligence. Now, he uses that insight to advocate for victims of wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and defective products holding the same powerful companies he once defended accountable for their actions.
Known as one of Atlanta’s most skilled legal researchers and writers, Robert brings unmatched procedural knowledge and precision to every case, helping strengthen arguments both in negotiations and at trial. He is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
